Edward Reuben Molstad, 62, passed away, in his sleep at the family home in Baker, Montana on February 21, 2003. Edward was the loving son of Jody (Trenk) & Reuben Molstad born on January 11, 1941 in Ekalaka, Montana. Edwin his twin brother died shortly after birth. He grew up and attended schools in the Baker & Ekalaka area. Edward loved to hunt and fish and spending time at the Canyon View Lodge at Chalk Buttes. He was an avid ornithologist and loved all animals and also spending time with his loving daughters Mary & Beth. Edward was an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe of Eagle Butte, South Dakota. Edward retired from Montana Dakota Utilities/WBI on January 1, 2003 with over 30 years of faithful service at the Little Beaver Gas Plant; as a Field Supervisor. Edward is preceded in death by his father, grandparents and twin brother Edwin. Survivors include his loving mother Jody Molstad of Baker; a brother Russell J. Molstad of Billings; a sister Roselyn Marie Scoles Mott of Vernal, Utah; two loving daughters: Elizabeth Ann Molstad and Mary Margaret Molstad both of Billings; and two nephews: Wayne Wilcox of Billings & Travis Mills of Denver, Colorado. Visitation will be Monday, February 24th from 11 AM until 2:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 2 PM at the Chapel of Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker. Burial will follow at the Bonnievale Cemetery. Ed’s family would like to cordially invite those attending the service to join them in a luncheon at the Stevenson Funeral Home following the graveside service.
