Funeral Services for Eddie ?Edward? J. Wentz, 72, of New England, are Monday, May 26, 2003, 9:00 a. m. at Our Redeemer?s Lutheran, New England with Pastor Jerry Erickson, officiating. Interment will follow at Tepee Butte Cemetery, south of New England. Visitation is Sunday from 9:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel with a prayer service at 7:30 p. m. Edward passed away on May 20, 2003, at his home. Edward was born February 14, 1931, in Havelock, ND to James and Fredericka (Hoffer) Wentz. He was raised on a farm by Havelock with his parents, attending grade school in New England. Eddie worked road construction most his life and retired from Schwartz Construction in 1993. He enjoyed working on cars and was a great mechanic. He was a member of Our Redeemer?s Lutheran Church, New England. Eddie is survived by three children, Carmela (Steve) Lyman of Andover, MN, Bryan (Nadine) Wentz of Dickinson and Brad Wentz of Pine City, MN; six grandchildren, Jason (Jenny) Lyman of Blaine, MN, Jeremy (Angie) Lyman of Blaine, MN, Joshua (Cassie) Lyman of Andover, MN, Jessica Lyman of Andover, MN, Cassie and Kyle Wentz of Dickinson, ND; two great grandchildren, Dakota and Kylie Lyman of Blaine, MN; a well as numerous nieces, nephews and several close friends. His parents, brothers and sister all preceded him in death.
