Funeral Mass for Eleanor Beaudoin, 86, Dickinson, will be 10:00 a. m. , Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Father Jeff Zwack Celebrating. Burial will be in the St. Patrick?s Cemetery in Dickinson. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 9:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home continuing at 5:00 p. m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with a rosary being said at 7:00 p. m. at the Church. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 a. m. to 9:00 a. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home. Eleanor passed away Friday, September 17, 2010 at St. Benedict?s Health center in Dickinson. Eleanor Anton was born May 24, 1924, in Lefor to Christ and Katherine (Blasy) Anton. She attended school in Lefor, ND. The second of 14 brothers and sisters, she worked outside and assisted her dad with several chores such as, milking, shocking grain, and drove a team of horses. On July 14, 1943, she married Lester Beaudoin at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church, Dickinson. The couple made their home in Dickinson, and it was also where they raised their family of 15 children. Eleanor and Lester operated Beaudoin Concrete. Lester passed away May 14, 1986. She married John Stockert. In recent years Eleanor spent time at Hawks Point and briefly at St. Benedict?s Health Center. She was very faithful at attending church, and was always caring, and worrying about someone else, other then herself. Eleanor had such a big heart, and was very devoted to her children and grandchildren, supporting them in all of their activities. Eleanor was a former member of the choir at St. Patrick?s and Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She loved to entertain, and be the host for the family. Her favorite saying was ?the more the merrier. ? Over the years she received several awards for mother of the year. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, gardening, fishing, cooking and baking for the family and watching Twins baseball games. She was a charter member of Eagles Auxiliary # 2328, Catholic Daughters, Happy Time Band and Dakota Pioneer Entertainer. Eleanor is survived by her five sons, David, Dickinson; Larry, Dickinson; Roger (Patti), Grand Junction, CO; Mark (Sandra), Dickinson and Dale (Sharon), Dickinson; 10 daughters, Carol Wood, Red Bluff, CA; Linda (Robert) Klemm, Las Vegas, NV; Gloria (Frank) Conlon, Lakeville, MN; Donna Kay Bline, Dickinson; Jane Ogden, Grapevine, TX; Denae (Gary) McGregor, North Bend, WA; Brenda Frank, El Cajon, CA; Evon (Doug) Braun, Dickinson; Lori Beaudoin, Plymouth, MN; Lynn Beaudoin, Emcimitas, CA; five sisters, Bertha Anton, Helen (Wally) Beaudoin, Anna (Louis) Helfrich and Appie (Tony) Fichter, all of Dickinson; Mary Anne (Don) Chantry, Rapid City, SD; two brothers, George (Hattie) Anton, Dickinson and Don (Loretta) Anton, Rapid City, SD; 27 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Lester Beaudoin and John Stockert; two sisters, Jeanette Mischel and Pauline Fichter; three brothers, Albert, Martin and Edward Anton; two step-grandchildren; two nephews and one niece.
