A Memorial Service for Eleanor M. Buchholz, 98, of Dickinson, is 2:00 p. m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2004, in the chapel of St. Luke?s Home. Burial will be at a later date in Wisconsin. Visitation is Monday, January 12, 2004 from 9:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel. Eleanor passed away Saturday, January 10, 2004 at St. Luke?s Home. Eleanor was born on March 16, 1905, in Emory, Texas, the daughter of L. W. and Laura (Webber) Massey. The family moved to Holton, MI and later to Lark, ND. Eleanor took nurses training in Chicago, IL, receiving her R. N. degree in 1927. She worked as a nurse in Chicago before moving to Beloit, WI where she continued her nursing career at Fairbanks Morse Company. She married Arthur Buchholz on November 2, 1945. They made their home in Beloit. He passed away in 1987. Eleanor moved to Arizona to live with her sister, Helen Ozbun and in 1995 she moved to Dickinson. She enjoyed shopping and looking for cards for her friends and family. Survivors include, several nieces and nephews including local residents, Jim (Sonja) Ozbun and Bill Massey both of Dickinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Lloyd W. Massey and Jim Massey, two sisters, Winifred Hall and Helen Ozbun. Memorials are preferred to St. Luke?s Home, Dickinson.
