Funeral Mass for Elizabeth Jordan, 87, of Dickinson is 1:00 p. m. , Thursday, October 20, 2005 at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in Dickinson, with Father Dennis Schafer celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph?s Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson. Visitation is Wednesday, October 19, 2005 from 9:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. , with a Rosary at 7:00 p. m. , at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel in Dickinson. Elizabeth passed away Saturday, October 15, 2005 at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Elizabeth Jordan was born June 16, 1918 in Hettinger County, ND to Martin and Wilhelmina (Greff) Kuntz. She grew up and attended country school north of Regent. On October 11, 1938, she married Valentine ?Val? Jordan at St. Michael?s Catholic Church in Regent. This marriage was blessed with six children and the family made their home seven miles west of Lefor and south of Dickinson. Elizabeth and Val lived on the farm together for 36 years, until Val?s death in 1975. Elizabeth then moved to Dickinson, where she resided until the time of her death. Elizabeth enjoyed attending church, playing cards, gardening, playing bingo, crocheting, reading and spending time with her family and friends. Elizabeth was a very devoted and faithful servant to God and to her family, and she was a member of St. Joseph?s Catholic Church for over 31 years. She was also a member of St. Ann?s Altar Society, Christian Mothers, St. Pius Verein, St. Anthony?s Club and the former German Hungarian Society. Survivors include: four sons: Joseph (Audrey) Jordan, Sterling, CO, Roger (Mary) Jordan, Covington, GA, Robert (Michelle) Jordan, Clinton, MT, Tony Jordan, Dickinson, ND; two daughters: Betty Jane (Ernest) Heck, Missoula, MT, Mary Ann (Lauren) Wojahn, Dickinson, ND; five sisters: Eva Wanner, Ann Heidt, Cecilia Jorgensen, Helen Mullen, all of Dickinson, ND, Tillie (Leo) Stein, Gladstone, ND; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren and one on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Val, five brothers: Martin, Henry, Vincent, Pete and an infant brother; two sisters: Minnie Koffler, and an infant sister; and three grandchildren: Joshua, Joy and Julie.
