Elizabeth Nagel, 93, of Glen Ullin, died Friday, April 6, 2007 at her home in Glen Ullin. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Bethel Assembly of God Church in Glen Ullin with the Reverend Chris Walstad, Officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, April 9, 2007 from 3 until 8:30 at the Spangelo Funeral home in Glen Ullin with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Glen Ullin Cemetery. Elizabeth was born December 24, 1913 at Bluegrass, ND the daughter of Ludwig and Christina (Wetzel) Roemmich. She was raised and educated at Bluegrass. Elizabeth worked on the family farm until she married Jacob Nagel October 27, 1935 at the Bethany Assembly of God Church at Bluegrass. Following marriage they farmed in the Bluegrass area. In 1942 they moved into Glen Ullin but continued to farm until 1971 when they retired. Jacob died in 1972. Elizabeth continued to reside in her home in Glen Ullin until she was called to her eternal home in Heaven on Good Friday. Grateful for having shared in her life are two daughters and sons-in-law: Betty and Fabian Fitterer, Glen Ullin, and Lerrene and Erv Kroh, Bismarck, ND. Two Grand daughters: Lorene Hohbein and Sandy Roth and six great grandchildren: Kristin Olheiser, Mackenzie and Treyton Hohbein, Lesley Geers, Lacey Roth, and Collin Roth; two step grandchildren: Kim Volk and Pam Rennick. Also surviving her is one sister: Sophie Weishaar, Mandan, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband in 1972, an infant daughter Irene, two brothers Albert, Edmund, and sister Minnie Redmann.
