Funeral Mass for Elizabeth ?Betty? Ulschak, 84, of Dickinson, ND will be 10:00 a. m. , Friday, July 25, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Keith Streifel officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Lefor, ND. Visitation will be from 9:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a rosary and vigil service at 7:00 p. m. Thursday, July 24, 2008 with Deacon Al Schwindt officiating at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 a. m. until one hour prior to the service at the Stevenson Funeral Home. Betty passed away Sunday July 20, 2008 at St. Benedict Health Center, Dickinson, NDElizabeth was born March 16, 1924 the daughter of Nick and Elizabeth (Wehner) Ulschak on the family farm near Lefor, ND. She grew up and attended country school moving to Dickinson in 1934 were she attended St. Joseph?s grade school. Betty began working at the Villard Hotel and later the Simms Caf?. She loved listening to old time music and especially to Frankie Wehner on his accordion. Betty was very dedicated to her church and was a long-time member of the St. Joseph?s Catholic Church. She is survived by: two sisters, Katherine Smiley, Rushville, IN and Marie (Edward) Kuswa, Hesperia, CA; a brother, Curtis (Betty) Ulschak of Kansas City, MO; a special cousin, Richard (Evelyn) Wehner, Dickinson, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Frank; three sisters, Eva Landy, Lena Vogal and Anna Ulschak.
