Ella Householder

A funeral service for Ella Agnes Householder, 81, formerly of Plevna, MT, will be 11:00 a. m. , Saturday, April 12, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Plevna with Pastor Ernie Lambright officiating. Burial will take place in the Plevna Community Union Cemetery. Visitation for Ella will be 6:00 p. m. – 8:00 p. m. , Friday, April 11th at Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker, MT with a Prayer service being held at 7:00 p. m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Ella passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Wibaux County Nursing Home in Wibaux, MT. Shewas surrounded by her family and the wonderful staff that took care of her since July 2013. Ella AgnesSchopp was born a daughter of Fred and Kathryn Schopp on May 12, 1932. She was the oldest of the three children born to this union. Ella grew up on the family farm/ranch and attended Baker Public School. On October 15, 1950, Glenn and Ella Agnes Schopp were married at the Baptist Church in Plevna, MT. To this union, Kathleen Ann, Gail Rene and Phay Arlene were born. After their marriage, Glenn and Ella bought their own ranch where they raised their family. Ella was a very hard worker all her life. She could be found anytime of the day assisting Glenn to tend the cattle, sheep, haying or farming. Ellacoveredthe work on thefarm/ranch while Glen workedoff the place building polebarnsfor Albert Losing and erecting Behlen steel buildings for Marion Hartse. Ella was an avid fisherwoman and has many picturesas proof ofcatching the "big one" near Fallon Montana. Also, shewas an avid gardener, quilter and she ran the family ranch from August of 1998 till July 2013 with the assist of her oldest daughter, Kathleen, and the following neighborhood families, Houzvicka's, Tundby's, Straubs andMeidingers, to name a few. She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Ann Householder, Ismay, MT, Gail Rene Rost, Auburn, WA and Phay (James) Lloyd, Clancy, MT; and four grandchildren, Jesse (Brad and great granddaughter Kate) Soper, Llane Rost, David Lloyd and Samuel Lloyd. Her parents, Fred and Kathryn Schopp; brother, Allen E. Schopp; sister, Delores F. Schopp; and her husband, Glenn Householder proceeded her in death.
