Elsie Kubischta

Liturgy of the Word Service for Elsie (Stoltz) Kubischta, 79, of Dickinson, ND will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Dickinson, ND.


Visitation and a time of sharing with the family will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2012 at the Chapel of St. Benedict’s Health Center in Dickinson. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson Funeral Home.


Elsie passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at St. Benedict’s Health Center in Dickinson.


Elsie Stoltz was born August 21, 1932 in Dickinson, ND, the daughter of Sebastian and Celestine (Frank) Stoltz. She attended school in Dickinson and was united in marriage to Henry A. Kubischta on Sept. 26, 1949. From this marriage, two daughters were born; Jenice and Junella. Elsie was stricken with Multiple Sclerosis and has resided at St. Benedict’s Health Center since January 1976. Elsie enjoyed listening to Old Time music, playing Bingo and many types of card games. Elsie was very dedicated to her faith and stayed active with various religious activities. During her time there she enjoyed greeting those she met and caring for the community pets.


Elsie is survived by Henry, Jenice (Jerry) Bayuk, Junella Vein; three grandchildren and six great- grandchildren; one brother, Joe (Josephine) Stoltz; four sisters, Helen (Robert) Hauck, Clara (Martin) Berzel, Agnes Feiling, Margaret Paulson; one sister-in-law, Willetta Stoltz; and many neices and nephews.


She is preceded in death by her parents Sebastian and Celestine (Frank) Stoltz; one brother, Paul Stoltz; two sisters Caroline (John) Wolfe and Betty (Milton) Trana.


In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to St. Benedict’s Health Center.
