Elsie Nelson

Elsie Nelson, age 88, of the Marian Manor Health Care Center in Glen Ullin and formerly of Mandan, and the widow of Alloyd Nelson, died Saturday, June 24, at the Marian Manor. As per Elise?s request they will be no formal funeral services. Elsie had made arrangements to donate her body to the University of North Dakota at Grand Forks. Elsie was born March 5, 1918 at New Leipzig, ND the daughter of John and Alma (Tinsman) Schmidt. She married Alloyd Nelson. Following marriage they owned and operated a ranch South of Mandan. Alloyd died May 13, 1990. Elsie is survived by one daughter: Bonnie Nelson, Minneapolis, MN.
