Elvira "Patty" Miller

A  Liturgy of the Word will be Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Stevenson Funeral Home with Deacon Ron Keller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery.

Visitation for Elvira "Patty" Miller, 86, of Dickinson will be 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2022 at Stevenson Funeral Home.

Patty passed away August 2, 2022 at St. Vincent's in Bismarck.

Elvira “Patty” was born August 17, 1935 on the family farm near Gladstone, the daughter of John A. and Monica (Fichter) Miller. As a young girl, she attended country schools near her home.  Patty became a helper in her brothers, Adam and Val’s, farming operation. Together, they farmed until 1991 at which time they retired and moved into Dickinson.  Elvira enjoyed coloring, word search puzzles, music and playing dominos.

Elvira is survived by her sisters, Kathy (Clarence) Hanel of Dickinson, Lorraine Raab of Phoenix AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Monica Miller; sisters, Margaret (Ben) Wolbaum, Tillie (Ambrose) Rettig; brothers, John (Cecilia), Christ (Mary), Mike (Sharon), Valentine and Adam Miller.
