Funeral Service for Emelia Rath, 91, of Baker will be 11:00 a. m. Friday, September 22, 2006, at the Assembly of God Church with Pastor Danny Winter officiating with special music by Forever Free: Allen Allerdings, Delane Rath and Richard Schaefer. Pianist is Debra Barth. Burial will follow in the Family lot in the Bonnievale Cemetery at Baker with Ryan Knutsvig, Ryan Brekke, Ryan Rath, Jeff Clark, Michael Rath, Jason Woolston and Adam Wooten as pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday, September 21, 2006 from 9:00 a. m. to 8:00 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker. Arrangements are under the direction of the Stevenson Funeral Home of Baker, MT. Emelia passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at the Quality Care Center in Baker. Emelia Allerdings was born December 16, 1914 on the family farm South of Plevna to Fredrick and Louise (Heiser) Allerdings. She grew up and attended schools south of Plevna. Emelia helped on the family farm until her marriage to Edwin Rath. They were united in marriage in Plevna, MT on July 9, 1944. Together they farmed and ranched southwest of Baker where they raised their family. To this union three children were born, Lonnie, Dennis and Julie. Emelia loved spending time with her family as it continued to grow through the years. . In May of 2002, she moved into town and made her home at the Parkview Retirement Complex were she has resided since. Emelia loved cooking, gardening and entertaining guests. Her joy was for her family and serving her Lord. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church and the women?s ministry in Baker. Survivors include, her daughter, Julie Woolston, Baker; two sons, Lonnie Rath and Dennis (Marleen) Rath both of Baker; a brother, Maurice Allerdings, Plevna; seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Ryan) Knutsvig, Melissa, (Ryan) Brekke, Ryan Rath, Michele (Jeff) Clark, Michael (Nola) Rath, Jason Woolston, Amanda Woolston (Adam Wooten, fianc?); five great-grandchildren, Caden & Kannon Knutsvig, Gabriel & Alexander Clark and Lance Rath. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin in 1997; a son in law, Lyle Woolston; a brother, George Allerdings and four sisters, Annie Rath, Frieda Fried, Lydia Kramlick and Alvina Kramlick.
