Emma A. Kadrmas, 92, Dickinson, died Sunday, March 6, 2005, at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson. Mass of Christian Burial is 11:30 a. m. , Thursday, March 10, 2005, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Jerry Kautzman, celebrating. Interment will be in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. , Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson, with a rosary at 7:00 p. m. Emma Salonick was born October 4, 1912 in Dickinson to Pantely and Anna (Kostelecky) Salonick. She was raised north of South Heart and attended school in South Heart until the 8th grade. Her family later moved to the Versippi area. On June 12, 1939, she married Henry H. Kadrmas at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. They later farmed three miles north of the Versippi community until the mid 70?s, they then retired and moved into Dickinson. Emma was an active member of RSVP, St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church Altar Society and Senior Singers and Dancers. She is survived by: one son, Wayne (Shirley) Kadrmas, Sheridan, WY; three daughters, Diane (Wally) Mertz, Bismarck, ND, Bonita (Mike) Bear, Houston, TX, and Carol (Richard) Koontz, Portland, OR; one brother, Tony Salonick, Dickinson, ND; two sisters, Mildred Splichal, Dickinson, ND and Dorothy Schutz, Billings, MT; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Henry; two sisters, Tillie Schutz and Rose Roller.
