Funeral services for Erhardt Mohl, 91, of Dickinson, ND will be 1:00 p. m. , Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Peace Lutheran Church with Pastor Steve Schou officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, April 24 from 4:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson. Erhardt passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at St. Benedict’s Health Care Center in Dickinson, ND. Erhardt Mohl was born on August 26, 1917 in Manhaven, ND to Alex and Elisa (Buchfink) Mohl. He spent his childhood on various farms throughout central North Dakota, where he attended country schools. He spent his early adult life enlisted in the CCC?s, working on various building projects. Shortly thereafter he met Ruth Schultz and the two were later married on January 12, 1941 at Zion Lutheran Church in Beulah, ND. They made their home in Zap where Erhardt worked at the Zap mine. In 1947 they purchased a farmstead North of Zap and they made it their home for the next 43 years. In 1990, they retired to Dickinson, where they continued to make their home until his beloved wife passed away in 2005. Erhardt continued living at the house until moving to Hawk?s Point in March, 2008. He really enjoyed his time at Hawk?s Point, where both staff and residents became good friends to him. Erhardt?s family was first and foremost in his life. He loved his farm and drew much enjoyment from horses. He enjoyed both fishing and golfing. Erhardt was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Dickinson. He is survived by his son: Ricky (Linda) Mohl, Zap, ND; three daughters: JoAnne (James) Boehm, Mandan, ND, Darla (Scott) Hoffman, Dickinson, ND and Lisa (Lee) Scott, Halliday, ND; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; three brothers and five sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Ruth; three brothers and two sisters. Memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Church.
