Funeral Service for Eric Ryan Kenitzer, 39, of Bismarck will be 11:00 a.m. MT., Monday, October 4, 2021 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson.

Visitation for Eric will be from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., MT., Monday, October 4, 2021 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson.

Beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and dear friend, Eric Ryan Kenitzer passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at his home in Bismarck.

Eric was born June 7, 1982, the son of Rick and Leslie (Tankersley) Kenitzer. He grew up in Miles City, MT where he made a name for himself as an athlete, competing in football, track, and wrestling. After high school Eric moved to Dickinson, ND to play football and attend college at DSU. After college, he eventually settled into a job as a lease operator in the oil patch and donating his time to the Big Brother program which later led to a fulltime job mentoring kids at the Pride Manchester House in Bismarck, ND helping children in need.
Eric was an avid weightlifter for the majority of his life, even competing in body building competitions and later powerlifting, where he found many close friends. He enjoyed hunting, reading, kayaking, paintballing, fishing, and so many other things.

Above all, Eric loved to spend time with his girlfriend, his family, many friends, and his dogs whom he cherished with his whole heart.

Eric is survived by his mother, Leslie Kenitzer; girlfriend, Angie Lowe; brother Evan (Martie) Kenitzer; sister Angela Kenitzer; nieces and nephews Christian James, Emma Elizabeth, Evalyn Ryanne, and Cordell Dean; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rick Kenitzer.
