Erna Isaak, 76, Dickinson, died Thursday, May 13, 2004, at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson. Funeral services will be 10 a. m. Saturday, May 15, 2004, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Dickinson, with the Rev. Joseph Howlett, officiating. Interment will be in the Halliday Cemetery, Halliday. Visitation will be Friday from 2 p. m. to 9 p. m. at Price-Murphy Funeral Home with a wake service at 7 p. m. Visitation will continue on Saturday at the church one hour prior to the service. Erna Borth was born on August 13, 1927, in rural Halliday, to Adolph and Emeila (Netzer) Borth. She attended rural school near Halliday. Erna then helped on the farm with light chores until her marriage to Arthur J. Isaak. Erna was a homemaker who loved to visit and play cards over coffee. She enjoyed listening to polkas and embroidering. Erna was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Dickinson. Erna is survived by: two sons, Kayo (Sandy) Isaak, Bowman, ND and Delvin Isaak, Bismarck, ND; one daughter, Betty (Reuben) Perkins, St. Clairsville, OH; six grandchildren, Tracy (Rob) Hamkens, Carrie (Dave) Germann, Greg Isaak, Benjamin Isaak, Stephanie Isaak and Shawn Monroe; two great-grandchildren, Zachary Hamkens and Alisha Hamkens; one brother, Adolph (Doris) Borth, Spokane, Wash. ; one sister, Hertha Lohse, Salem, Ore. ; four sisters-in-law, Frieda Borth, Bismarck, Leontina Borth, Halliday, Irma Seidel, Hazen and Mary Jane Isaak, Colorado. She was preceded in death by: her husband; parents; three sisters, Elsie Kruckenberg, Hulda Junke and Emma Hanson; three brothers, Reuben, Ervin and Herbert Borth.
