Ervin was later married to Josie Neshem on July 5, 1995. They also made their home at the farm. Josie passed away on November 18, 1998. Ervin continued to live on the farm until 2003 when he moved into the Marian Manor, where he has made his home since. His love and joy was always with the farm and all that went on with it. He enjoyed driving around on his ATV and looking over the pastures and the farm ground. He was a longtime member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church of Glen Ullin, taught Sunday school, served as a board member and served as a board member of the North Dakota Assembly of God Keen Camp.
