Esther Boespflug

Esther Elizabeth Marquart was born on October 21, 1931, in Dodge, ND to Peter P. Jr. and Pauline (Zentner) Marquart. She attended Dodge High School. On November 22, 1949, she married Richard C. Boespflug. Esther enjoyed helping out with religious education and often volunteered to be a prayer partner for confirmation candidates. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, collecting and reading cookbooks, travel, NASCAR racing, camping, fishing and playing cards. She loved owls and hummingbirds. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Esther is survived by her husband, Richard, of Dickinson; daughters Daretia ?Darry? Powers, Poway, Calif. , Shirleen ?Sherri? (Tim) Marquart, Polson, Mont. , Carlen ?Carley? (Dr. David) Strand, Sioux Falls, S. D. and Dickie Jo Boespflug, Dickinson. Her grandchildren, Troy, Amy Tanner, Crystal, Michael, Chelsey and Jonathan were a special joy in her life. Survivors also include, sister-in-laws, Gladys (Leo) Marquart Brandl, Shirley (Adam) Privratsky, and numerous nieces and nephews all whom loved her very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Leo and sister, Helen.
