Esther Granlie

Funeral services for Esther Granlie, 91, of Albuquerque, NM formerly of Dickinson will be 11 a. m. , Friday, July 11, 2008 at St. John Lutheran Church, Dickinson, ND with Pastor Lisa Lewton officiating. Burial will follow in the Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. , Thursday, July 10, 2008 with a prayer service at 8 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, ND. Esther passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at the Woodmark Assisted Living Center in Albuquerque, NM. Esther was born March 2, 1917 in Washburn, North Dakota the daughter of August and Mary (Anderson) Nelson. She married the late Harold Granlie on July 22, 1941 and they lived together in Washburn before relocating to Dickinson, ND in 1956. Esther was an employee of Woolworths for 21 years. She was a department manager at the time of her retirement in 1979. Mrs. Granlie leaves one daughter, Mary (Doug) Weber, Albuquerque, NM; Five grandchildren; Patrick Weber, San Antonio, TX, Danell Weber, Albuquerque, NM, Kerrie Weber, Portland, OR, Stacie Collette, Billings, MT and Jason Granlie, Billings, MT. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; son, Harold; two brothers; Edwin and Everet Nelson.
