Funeral services for Esther M. Heinle, 92, of Breckenridge, MN, will be 1:00 p.m. CST, Friday, February 2, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Hebron, ND with Pastor David Ling officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.


Visitation for Esther will be 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CST at the church prior to the service.


Esther passed away January 26, 2018 at St. Francis Nursing Home in Breckenridge, under the care of Hospice.


Esther was born November 4, 1925, the daughter of John and Christine Waltz of Turtle Lake, ND. She was the oldest of seven children growing up on the farm in Turtle Lake. Esther married Edmund Heinle on September 1, 1945 in Hebron, ND. Together, the couple farmed near Hebron until 1991 when they retired and moved to Hebron. Esther will be remembered as a bright, shining light in the community where she worked at the Marion Manor Nursing Home for 12 years. She enjoyed quilting and was an active member in the church. She loved playing harmonica with family and friends at church and various functions.


Esther will be remembered by her children, Jackie (Kevin) Carty of Gaines, MI, Marcy (Todd) Dohman of Breckenridge, MN, and David Heinle of Absarokee, MT; eight grandchildren, Steven, Amber, Angela, Cody, Ciara, Loran, Danielle, and Shelby; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bertha Rath, Emma Lecy, and Alma Carr; and two brothers, Gust and Bill Waltz.


She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sandra; husband, Edmund; and brother, John.
