A Liturgy of the Word service for Ethel A. Hibl, 91, of Dickinson will be 10:00 a. m. , Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson with Deacon Ron Wolberg celebrating. Burial will follow in Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation for Ethel will be from 6:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. , Monday, January 26, 2015 at Stevenson Funeral Home with a rosary and vigil service being held at 7:00 p. m. Ethel passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at St. Luke’s Home in Dickinson. Ethel Ann Hibl was born April 10, 1923 in Halliday, ND, the daughter of Albert Earl and Alma (Rohde) Twogood. She attended high school at Werner, ND, graduating in 1943, and was a school teacher until 1945. On June 8, 1949, Ethel and Laudie J. Hibl were united in marriage in Dickinson. To this union five children were born: Darlene, Diana, Duane, Dona and Darwin. During this time, Ethel worked various jobs as a bookkeeper, a credit manager for F. W. Woolworth, and at Queen City Motors. Ethel enjoyed having coffee with the girls. She also liked gardening, sewing, cooking and knitting. Ethel loved babysitting her grandkids. Ethel is survived by sons, Terrance “Terry” (Elsie) Twogood of Bismarck, ND, Duane (Nina) Hibl of Amarillo, TX, Darwin (Susan) Hibl of Dickinson, ND; daughters, Darlene Fairizial of Bismarck, ND, Diana Hibl of Spearfish, SD, Dona Voeller of Dickinson, ND; sister, Ellie Mae Olheiser of Dickinson, ND; ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laudie J. Hibl; brothers, Louie Twogood, Marvin Twogood and Bud Twogood; grandchild, Laudie Fairizial.
