Eunice Kronschnabel, 81, Dickinson, died Saturday, April 16, 2005, at St. Luke?s Home, Dickinson. Memorial services are 10 a. m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dickinson with Rev. Steven Tangen and Rev. Pat Higgins, officiating. Inurnment will be the Dickinson Cemetery, Dickinson. The family will gather on Monday at 6 p. m. at Price-Murphy Funeral Home to greet friends and a prayer service will follow at 7 p. m. Eunice M. Kronschnabel was born on December 9, 1923, in Dickinson to Edward and Tekla (Peterson) Kronschnabel. She attended various grade schools and graduated from Killdeer High School in 1941. Eunice was the co manager of the Midget News Stand in the early 1940 and 1950?s, then was employed at the First National Bank and American State Bank in Dickinson. She was a member of the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dickinson where she was very active in the Altar Guild and WELCA. Eunice was also a member of the Sunset Senior Citizens, AARP, St. Joseph?s Hospital and Health Center Auxiliary, Scandinavian Ethnic Group and Bailiff in District Court. Eunice enjoyed volunteering and was named the North Dakota Volunteer of the year in 2000. She will be missed by her numerous ?adopted? grandchildren. She is survived by: three sisters, Marjorie ?Marge? Walters, Dickinson, ND, Carol (Linden) Iverson, Lake City, Minn. and Joyce Schnell, Santa Maria, Calif. ; one brother, George (Marge) Kronschnabel, Casper, Wyo. and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents and one sister, Audrey Fischer. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dickinson.
