Eva L. (Haag) Duletski, 95, formerly of Belfield, North Dakota, and a resident of Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center in Bismarck, North Dakota, passed away December 21, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a. m. , MDT, Thursday, December 29, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, North Dakota with the Rev. Todd Kreitinger celebrating. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. , MDT, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Stevenson Funeral Home with a rosary and vigil service being held at 7:00 p. m. Visitation will continue from 8:00 a. m. to 9:00 a. m. , Thursday, at the funeral home. Eva was born October 27, 1921, the eldest child of Anton and Margaret (Martian) Haag at Belfield, ND. Eva attended Emerson Elementary School and Dunn Center High School. In 1940, Eva’s sense of adventure took her to Chicago where she worked at St. Anne’s Hospital. Upon returning to North Dakota in 1942, Eva took a position with the Dunn County Auditor’s Office in Manning. She later worked at the Ration Board in Dickinson and the Queen City Creamery. On May 24, 1949, Eva married Casmer P. Duletski at St. Phillipp’s Catholic Church at Hirschville, ND. They made their life in the Belfield area where they were actively engaged in farming for nearly 40 years. Retiring to Dickinson in 1986, she enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Eva’s strong relationship with her faith and family were her priorities. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her deep devotion to her faith was evident in her weekly commitment to the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. A commitment that continued for 45 years. Her love for the Blessed Virgin Mary was foremost with her daily devotion to the rosary. This devotion supported her many times in life’s journey. Surviving Eva are her daughters, Lydia (Dennis) Fewless, Bismarck, ND, Bernice Duletski, Bismarck, ND; her sons, John (Nancy) Duletski, Belfield, ND, Anthony (Mary) Duletski, Bowman, ND; eight grandchildren, Janna Rodakowski, Katie Serr, Theresa Fewless, Ryan Duletski, Daniel Duletski, James Duletski, Anne Duletski, Olivia Duletski; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Louie (Eliane) Haag, FL, Roger (Diane) Haag, AZ; two sisters, Jeannette (Norman) Eggebraaten, TN and Lorraine (Edward) Binstock, Dickinson, ND. Preceding Eva in death were one son, Stephen Duletski and an infant daughter; her parents, Anton and Margaret (Martian) Haag; her husband, Casmer; four brothers, Leo Haag I, Leonard J. Haag, Phillip C. Haag and Leo V. Haag; four sisters, Eleanor Oen, Rose Mary Haag, and Barbara A. Haag and Elaine E.
