Born 27 August 1949 – Territory of AlaskaDied 28 October 2011 – Mott, North DakotaEvelyn wished to express gratitude to Governor Jack Dalrymple forhaving proclaimed this October as Inflammatory Breast CancerAwareness Month in North Dakota. ?She was a Phantom of delightWhen first she gleam’d upon my sight;A lovely Apparition, sentTo be a moment’s ornament:Her eyes as stars of twilight fair;Like twilight’s, too, her dusky hair;But all things else about her drawnFrom May-time and the cheerful dawn;A dancing shape, an image gay,To haunt, to startle, and waylay.
