Faye Gabe

Faye Gabe, 98, Richardton, died Thursday, August 25, 2005, at the Richardton Memorial Hospital and Health Center, Richardton. Graveside services will be 2 p. m. , Sunday, August 28, 2005, at Taylor Lutheran Cemetery, Taylor with the Rev. Gary Wood, officiating. The family will greet friends from 6 p. m. to 8 p. m. , Saturday, August 27, 2005 at Price-Murphy Funeral Home. Faye Linnertz was born on March 6, 1907, in Ryder North Dakota to Christ and Teresa ?Terry? Linnertz. She attended and graduated from the St. Alexius School of Nursing and worked as a traveling nurse. She met and later married Adam Gabe on March 6, 1937, in Bismarck. They farmed until 1979, when they moved in to Taylor. Adam died in May 26, 1995. Faye moved to Richardton in 1995 and to Richardton Memorial Hospital and Health Center in the spring of 2003. She is survived by: one daughter, Kay (Byron) Bobb, Fort Collins, CO; two grandchildren, Stevan (Joanne) Roanoke, TX and Stuart (Betsy) Bobb, Fort Collins, CO and four great grandchildren; Alexandra and Rachel Bobb and Nathan and Lisa Bobb. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband and five brothers. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to: Richardton Memorial Hospital and Health Center, 212 3rd Ave West, Richardton, ND 58652.
