Liturgy of the Word for Florence Frank, 92, of Dickinson will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Stevenson Funeral Home with Deacon Victor Dvorak officiating. A rosary service will be held an hour before the service at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Pius Cemetery, Scheffield.
Visitation for Florence will be from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, at Stevenson Funeral Home.

Florence passed away April 7, 2021 at St. Benedict’s in Dickinson.
Florence Smith was born April 29, 1928 in Stark County, the daughter of Mike and Julia (Fischer) Smith. She attended grades 1- 6 at Fischer District Country School and grades 7 -8 at St. Pius School in Sheffield. On October 23, 1950, Florence was united in marriage to Jacob Frank at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, rural Gaylord. To this union, Ann, Elizabeth, Ed, Bill, Cindy, Gordon, Jeff and Larry were born. Florence worked at Stockmen’s Livestock for 14 years. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed gardening and delivering eggs and cream for 30 years. Florence was a master of jigsaw puzzles, and word searches. She enjoyed tv game shows.
Florence was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New England. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Altar Guild, St. Ann’s Society, Christian Mothers, St. Joseph’s Christian Mothers of Dickinson, St. Pius Verein of Sheffield, St. Anthony Club in Dickinson and the Knights of Columbus Club.
Florence moved into Evergreen Assisted Living on February 10, 2020 and enjoyed her time there before moving to St. Benedicts Health in October of 2020.
Florence is survived by her daughters, Ann Cabral (Claud Privratsky) of Dickinson, Elizabeth Roman of Sarasota, FL, Cindy (Del) Miller of Dickinson; sons, Edward Frank (Cindy Petron) of Elk River, MN, William (Rita) Frank, Jeffery Frank and Gordon Frank all of Dickinson, Larry (Carmey) Frank of Rhame; grandchildren, Robert, Genneth, Amanda, Christopher, Kendra, Kaylene, Shannon, Cole, Lacey, and Casey; great-grandchildren; Heather, Carlie, Matthew, Josiah; sisters, Shirley (Roy) Heidt of WI, Gladys (Dan) Krous of Mansfield, OH, Judy Buben of Marysville, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Julia; husband, Jacob; sister, Betty Miller; brothers, Ned Smith, Frank Smith; brothers-in-law, Mike Miller, Paul Buben; sisters-in-law, Caroline and Agnes Smith; infant granddaughter; daughter-in-law, Gaylene Frank.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made to Evergreen Assisted Living and St. Benedict’s Health.
