A Funeral Service for Mary Frances Hall, 97, of Dickinson will be 10:00 a. m. on Monday, December 20, 2004 at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel, Dickinson. Entombment will follow in the Dickinson Mausoleum. Visitation is Sunday, December 19, 2004 from 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. , continuing on Monday from 8:00 a. m. until service time at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel. Fran passed away Saturday, December 18, 2004 at St. Benedict?s Health Care Center in Dickinson. She was born August 13, 1907 at Kellogg, ID, the daughter of George and Dee (Peterson) Daubl. She grew up and attended schools in Seattle, graduating for the Ballard High School in 1925. Fran was married to Elmer Hall in Seattle on February 28, 1925. They both worked for the Helen Ardell Chocolates Co. in Seattle for several years. In 1936 they purchased the Viewlands Tavern. Together, they owned and operated the Tavern until 1945. Elmer and Fran moved to Kingston where they owned and operated the Kingston Caf?. In 1953 Elmer passed away. Fran continued to operate the Caf? until 1956 when she sold it and moved back to Seattle where she started the Cameo Frame Shop in Greenwood. In 1981 she retired and lived in Seattle until moving to Dickinson in 2000 where she has made her home since. Fran enjoyed fishing (especially for salmon), reading and gardening. Survivors include a son, Richard (Rosalie) Hall of Dickinson; a niece, Pat Wilson of Hood Canal, WA; five grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and a sister, Nita Miles.
