Frances Haag

A Rosary and Liturgy of the Word Service for Frances Haag, 101, Dickinson will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Stevenson Funeral Home with Deacon Bob Zent celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.


Visitation for Frances will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Stevenson Funeral Home.


Frances passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson.


Frances was born August 31, 1915 to Aloysius and Theresa (Halter) Frederick on the family farm near Richardton, ND. She attended country school and helped on the farm growing up. She married John Haag on November 7, 1938 in Richardton. They moved to Spirit Lake, Idaho until 1940. They then bought a farm north of Richardton and farmed together until they retired and moved to Dickinson in 1971. Frances enjoyed playing cards, feeding her company and dancing.


Frances is survived by many nieces and nephews; and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; sister, Katie Hauck; brothers, John, Victor and Joe Frederick.
