Fred Fisher

Funeral services for Fred Walter Fisher, 75, of Glen Ullin, ND formerly of the Mandan, ND area will be 10 a. m. , Monday, March 2, 2009 at Stevenson Funeral Home Dickinson, ND. Burial will be later in the spring. Visitation will be 9 a. m. – 12 p. m. , Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson and continue from 1 pm. ? 6 p. m. , Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Stevenson Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Monday, March 2, 2009 from 8 a. m. – 9 a. m prior to the service at the funeral home. Fred passed away February 26, 2009 at the Marian Manor Health Care Center in Glen Ullin, ND. Fred Walter Fisher was born February 17, 1934 in Mandan, ND to Fred and Helen (Rychlik) Fisher. He grew up and attended country school and later the Mandan Schools. He helped his parent?s farm north of Mandan for many years. He attended Wahpeton for mechanic school for a year. He returned to Mandan where he became custodian of the Bismarck Junior College. In 1998, he retired and continued to make Mandan his home. Fred enjoyed life and visiting with his friends and neighbors. Due to ill health, he has spent the last several years at the Marion Manor in Glen Ullin, ND. He is survived by his brother, Richard (Martha) Fisher, Dickinson, ND and sister, Irene (Williams) Johnson, Bocca Raton, FL; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Gordon Fisher.
