Funeral Services for Genevieve Patricia Goroski, 80 of Baker will be held 11:00 a. m. , Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at St. John?s Catholic Church with Father Thomas Tobin, celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. John?s Catholic Cemetery in Baker. Visitation will be on Monday, March 28, 2005 from 11:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker. Genevieve passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at Fallon Medical Complex in Baker. Genevieve was born March 31, 1924, the daughter of Clifford & Marie (Kuyper) Moody in Chippewa Falls, WI. She attended country schools in the Ismay area where her parents ranched. Later they moved to the Baker area where Genevieve attended school in Baker graduating from Baker High School. She began college at Normal College in Billings to pursue a degree in teaching. Genevieve?s love of her life was Lawrence Goroski. While Lawrence was home on furlough, they were united in marriage on July 23, 1943 in Baker, Montana; When Lawrence returned from the service they started farming on the Goroski farm. In the early 50?s they moved to Baker where they had made their home since. Genevieve started working in the Hot Lunch Program for the Baker Schools and after that, worked with her sister Bonnie at the floral shop and later Avenue Floral. She also enjoyed raising her own flowers. Genevieve loved children of all ages; especially her nieces and nephews. Genevieve is survived by her husband, Lawrence of 61 years; three sisters: Bonnie (Relvin) Larson, Marabelle (Cliff) Crawford of Plevna and Lois Jean (Brice) Kinsey of Terry and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Clifford Jr. and Charles Moody and one sister, Helen Moody.
