Genevieve Zillich

Funeral Mass for Jenny Zillich, 77, of Taylor ND will be at 9 a. m. , Thursday, September 24, 2009 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Gladstone, ND with Father Boniface Muggli celebrating. Burial will be in the North Dakota Veteran?s Cemetery, Mandan, ND. Visitation will be 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. , Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, ND with a Rosary and Vigil Service at 7 p. m. Jenny passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 at St. Joseph?s Hospital, Dickinson, ND. Genevieve M. Meyer was born November 27, 1931 in Taylor, ND to John and Margaret (Heinert) Meyer. She grew up on the family farm and attended country school before finishing school in Taylor, ND. On June 9, 1952 she married Frank Zillich in Richardton, ND. The couple made their home in Taylor their entire lives and raised their two children, Randy and Deb here. Jenny, as everyone knew her by, worked in her parent?s caf? for many years. She later became the bookkeeper for Frank?s Repair and Zillich Brothers Implement of Taylor. Jenny liked to fish and camp and be outdoors spending time in the yard and garden. She loved old time music as well as dancing and sing alongs. Jenny enjoyed trying her luck at the Casinos on occasion. She was a member of St. Peter?s Catholic Church in Taylor and later St. Thomas Catholic Church in Gladstone and also a member of the Christian Mothers. Jenny is survived by her husband, Frank, Taylor, ND; son, Randy (Carla) Zillich, Taylor, ND; daughter, Deb Zillich( Kevin Charbonneau) Dickinson, ND; grandchildren, Jessica Zillich (fianc?e, Brandon Deavy) and Kristen Zillich (fianc?e, Ken Dvorak); brother, Ray (Vi) Meyer, Mandan, ND and a twin sister, Liz Gasch, Darien, WI. She is preceded in death by both parents, brothers, Ed Meyer and an infant brother, Donnie Meyer, sister, Adeline McKenna, brother-in-laws, Pete Gasch and John McKenna. Family suggests memorials may be given to the Assumption Abbey 481 3rd Ave West Richardton, ND 58652 or the Taylor Christian Mothers, Taylor, ND 58656
