    Funeral Services for George Emmil, 81, of Wilton, ND formerly of Dickinson will be 1:00 p. m. , Friday, August 17, 2007 at the Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with Father Austin Vetter officiating. Burial will be in the St. Pius Cemetery in Sheffield. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p. m. , Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the Red Wood Village Care Center in Wilton, ND followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 8:00 a. m. until 1:00 pm at the chapel. George passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Mott, ND. George Bede Emmil was born on January 2, 1926 the son of Marcus and Monica (Olheiser) Emmil in Sheffield, ND. He grew up and attended school in the Sheffield area later moving to the family farm in the South Heart area. After leaving home, his heart remained with the land as he had various farm jobs, as well as working with custom grain cutting crews for many years. For the last 25 years George has made his home at the Redwood Village in Wilton were he formed many friendships and extended family. He loved the Christmas season with all the parties, and old time music. He also enjoyed his television and radio. George had a good heart and a ready smile for anyone who came to visit, he loved his home and the people who cared for him. George was a member of the St. Pius Verein. Survivors include, a brother, Cyril (Lee) Emmil, two sisters, Tillie Nelson and Adeline Klein all of Dickinson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Leo and four sisters, Katie, Louise, Mary and Veronica.
