George Fredericks

A Liturgy of the Word Service for George Fredericks, 50, Mandan, ND will be 11:00 a. m. , CDT, Monday, August 15, 2016 at Twin Buttes Community Center, Twin Buttes, ND with Father Darnis Selvanayakam celebrating. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Twin Buttes. A Rosary will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 5:00 p. m. , CDT, at Twin Buttes Community Center. George passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck, ND. George Fredericks, GoShe “Pinto Horse”, was born May 11, 1966 to Keith and Betty (Curley) Fredericks in Dickinson. Growing up he attended school in Twin Buttes and Oaks, ND. He graduated from Mankato East High School in 1985. After school George went to work in heavy construction for a local company. George also worked for Hansen Farms as a farm hand. George enjoyed going to pow wows, rodeos, family gatherings and watching Bison Football. He was a great brother and uncle. They will miss him dearly. George is survived by his sister, Ronda Fredericks of Mandan; brother, Keith (Tamara) Fredericks of Ft. Yates; niece, Eichelle (Matt) Messana of Manda; nephew; Andrew Lawrence of Ft. Yates; aunts, Betty Lou (Marcus) Gress of Lafayette,CO, and Dawn Johnson of New Town; uncles, Pete (Sylvia) Fredericks of Twin Buttes and Tom (Judy) Fredericks of Lafayette, CO; second family, Larry, Nancy and Martin Hansen and the rest of the Hansen Family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Betty Fredericks; brothers, Craig Fredericks and Jeffery Fredericks; paternal grandparents, John Sr. and Catherine Fredericks; maternal grandparents, Steve and Virginia Curley; uncles, Ken Fredericks Sr. and John “Buzz” Fredericks Jr; aunts; Baudine Stewart, Davine Keene and Juanita K. Warden.
