George Schirado

George Schirado, age 81, of Glen Ullin, having given his life to the Lord, died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at St. Alexius in Bismarck. He will now spend eternity with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 10:00 AM Central Time at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glen Ullin with Father Jospeh Arul as Celebrant. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday after 4:00 PM at the church with Vigil Services at 7:00 PMGeorge was born February 23, 1926 on the family farm Northeast of Glen Ullin, the son of John and Theresa (Filibeck) Schirado. He was raised on the farm and educated in country school. He married Agnes Muller, April 14, 1953. Following marriage they moved to Bismarck where he lived and worked until he returned to Glen Ullin. He entered the Marian Manor Health Care Center in December of 2000He is survived by his children: Ken Schirado, Oakland, CA; Keith and Chris Schirado, Bismarck, ND, and their children, Kelly, Jade and Matt; Karla and Jerry Jabs, Moorhead, MN, and their children Kirsten and fianc? Brandon Johnson and Ashley and her fianc? Mike Sutherland; Kim and Shirley Schirado, Moorhead, MN, and their children Lane and Ryan; Kristie and Curt Strandemo, Mundelein, IL, and their children Luther and Logan; Kevin and Melinda Schirado and Kurt and Cindy Schirado all of Bismarck, ND. He is also survived by his brother Nick (Vivian), Bismarck; his sisters: Rose Kastner, Lansing, MI; Eleanor Wehri, Glen Ullin; and sisters-in-law: Helen Schirado, Lansing, MI; Bessie Rhodenbaugh, Glen Ullin, ND; Eva Schirado, Spokane, WA; Joyce Velasques, Lansing, MI, and Eunice Schirado, Glen Ullin. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Karen, his brothers Ernest, Carl, Victor, Ervin, Leo, John, Joseph, and William.
