George Stroh

George Stroh was born July 5, 1936, in rural Manning to Joseph and Selma (Klug) Stroh. He attended rural school and married Evelyn Bezdicek on October 3, 1960, at Sts Peter and Paul Church, New Hradec. He continued to work on the family farm until his recent retirement. George loved to watch rodeo, and enjoyed fishing, and playing cards with family and friends. In October, George got to visit his first granddaughter in Austin, Texas. He is survived by: one daughter, Karen (Tony) Gatica, Austin, Texas; one son, Douglas Stroh, Seattle, Wash. ; their mother, Evelyn Stroh, Killdeer; one granddaughter, Jadyn; two brothers, Theodore (Barbara) Stroh, Craig, Colo. and Jim (JoAnne) Stroh, Eden, Wis. and four sisters-in-law, Rose, Dickinson, Loraine, Beaver Dam, Wis. , Evelyn, Montgomery, Ala. and Sharon, Tacoma, Wash. He was preceded in death by: his parents; one sister, Pauline (Paul) Schmidt and five brothers, Jack, Adam, Andrew, Edward, and Joseph.
