Gertrude A. Bleth age 76, of Glen Ullin, died Monday, November 21, 2005 while a resident of the Marian Manor Health Care Center in Glen Ullin. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a. m. Central Time on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glen Ullin with the Abbot Brian Wangler, OSB as Celebrant. Visitation will be held on Friday after 4:00 p. m. at Sacred Heart with Vigil services at 7:00 p. m. Burial will be held in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Gertrude was born March 19, 1929 at Hebron the daughter of Frank and Mathilda (Jose) Kokot. She was raised and educated at Hebron with the exception of one year spent with her grandmother in Wenatchee, WA. She graduated from Hebron High in 1947. She married Vincent Bleth June 28, 1948 at Hebron. They lived in a number of places until they retuned to Glen Ullin in 1958. Gertrude loved to bake for her family. She also loved to get together to play card and dice games, and bonco. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church and the Christian Mothers. Gertrude recently entered the Marian Manor Health Care Center in Glen Ullin. She died Monday November 21, 2005 at the Manor. She is survived by her children: Vivan Bleth, Glen Ullin, ND; Dennis Bleth, Dickinson, ND; Lester Bleth, Glen Ullin, ND; and Cheryl (Doug) Boehm, Bismarck, ND; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers: Walter Kokot, Minot, ND; and Frank Kokot II, Livingston, MT; two sisters: Mary Schantz of Hebron, and Doreen Libbey, Livingston, MT. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband on June 20, 2003, and 1 great-grand daughter: Melissa Duppong.
