A funeral Mass for Gertrude Zimmerman, 93, of Richardton, will be 10:00 a. m. CST, Friday, September 30, 2016 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Hebron with Father Jeff Zwack celebrating. Burial will take place in St. John Cemetery, Hebron. Visitation for Gertrude will be from 3:30 p. m. to 5:00 p. m. CST, Thursday, September 29 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with a rosary and vigil service being held at 4:00 p. m. CST. Visitation will continue on Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church. Gertrude passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at Richardton Health Center. Gertrude was born July 28, 1923, on a farm north of New Hradec, the daughter of Stanley and Anna (Roller) Godlevsky. She helped her parents on the farm until she married Carl Dengel in 1947. They moved to a farm south of Dickinson. Two years later they moved north of Manning where they had three sons. After moving to Dickinson, Gertrude worked for motels and restaurants. In 1969, she married Arnold Zimmerman and moved to a farm south of Hebron. Together they operated a dairy farm until 1995, when they moved into Hebron. Arnold passed away in 2000. Gertrude entered the Richardton Health Center in 2009 and lived there until she passed away. Gertrude is survived by her three sons, Howard (Margie) Dengel of Dickinson, Harley (Tammy) Dengel of Dickinson, Harlin Dengel of Hebron; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy (Jacob) Herold of Gladstone, Loretta (Albert) Degele of Fergus Falls, MN, Monica (Maynard) Wanner of Dickinson; and two brothers, David Godlevsky of Dickinson, Albert (Leona) Godlevsky of Manning. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Charlie and Edmund Godlevsky.
