Gladys Dahl

Gladys Dahl, 85, Dickinson, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson. Funeral services are 2 p. m. , Saturday, December 2, 2006, at Belfield Lutheran Church, Belfield, with Rev. Roger Dieterle officiating. Interment will be in Belfield Lutheran Cemetery, Belfield. Visitation will be 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. , Friday, December 1, 2006 at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson. Visitation will continue Saturday at the church one hour prior to the service. Gladys Larsen was born May 28, 1921 in Dickinson to Julius and Emma (Gordon) Larsen. She attended school in Belfield. She married Russel Newton on June 4, 1941. She married Edwin Dahl on May 28, 1983. She was a member of Belfield Lutheran Church and Ladies Aide. She moved to the Evergreen in 2000. She enjoyed needlepoint, embroidery, crocheting, bowling, and playing bingo at the Evergreen. She is survived by: her sons and daughters-in-law, Bob (Nancy) Newton, Gary (Julie) Newton, Ken (Barbara) Newton, Terry Newton, and Keith Newton all of Belfield; one brother, Wayne (Bessie) Larsen, Toppenish, WA; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husbands; parents; two children, Johnny Newton and Ruth Newton; two grandchildren, Charmion Newton and Nancy Newton; one great granddaughter, Mallory Newton, and a sister, Dorothy Muecke.
