Funeral Services for Glenn A. Householder, 86, of Plevna, MT will be 11:00 a. m. Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Plevna, MT with Pastor Steve Mortensen officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Community Union Cemetery at Plevna. Visitation will be 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p. m. Monday, June 18, 2007 in the Chapel of Stevenson Funeral in Baker, MT. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. on Monday at the Chapel. Glenn passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Lewistown, MT. Glenn A. Householder was born a son of Phoenix Park and Augusta Louise (Bluski) Householder on the family homestead northwest of Plevna, MT on November 18, 1920. Glenn was the third of six children born to this union. Glenn grew up on the family farm and attended country school and later Ismay Public School. On October 15, 1950, Glenn and Ella Agnes Schopp were married at the Baptist Church in Plevna, MT. To this union Kathleen Ann, Gail Rene and Phay Arlene were born. After their marriage, Glenn and Ella bought their own ranch where they raised their family. Glenn was a hard worker all of his life. He could be found anytime of the day tending to his cattle, sheep, haying or farming. To keep busy, Glenn also worked for Albert Losing building pole barns and later worked for Marion Hartse erecting Behlen steel buildings. In his spare time, Glenn never missed a chance to catch the big one, whether it was hunting or fishing. Glenn spent his entire live on the farm, until August of 1998 when he became ill and eventually entered a nursing home in Lewistown, MT. Glenn is survived by his wife, Ella Householder, Plevna, MT; three daughters, Kathleen Ann Householder, Plevna, MT, Gail Rene (Scott) Rost, Auburn, WA and Phay (James) Lloyd, Clancy, MT; two brothers, Russell Householder, Billings, Mt and Lynn (Doris) Householder, Ismay, MT; one sister, Besse Parabeck, Billings, MT and four grandchildren, Jesse (Brad) Soper , Llane Rost, David Lloyd and Samuel Lloyd. His parents, Phoenix and Augusta Householder, his brother Phoenix Park Householder Jr. and a sister, Sarah Netzer preceded him in death.
