Gloria Olson

Gloria J. Olson passed away November 29, 2014, at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in Dickinson. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services, cremation has taken place and her ashes will be scattered at sea. Gloria Jane Shrader was born on August 5, 1923, in Hagerstown, Maryland, the daughter of Edgar and Delilah Shrader. After graduating from Hagerstown High School, she moved with her family to San Diego, California, where she met and married Kenneth J. Olson. Kenneth was a US Navy career retiree. They lived in many different places, Norway being one of her favorites. Gloria moved to North Dakota from Prescott, AZ in 2005 and resided in Park Ave Villa. Gloria is survived by neice, Gail (Allan) Lynch; and two nephews, Floyd (Janett) Barkman and Don (Donna) Barkman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, on May 22, 2000; step-father, Orval Clark; mother, Delilah Shrader; sisters, Faye Bedillion Holzman and Belva M. Barkman; brother, Edgar Shrader, Jr. Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice.
