A funeral Mass for Greg Stephens, 45, of Dickinson will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, March 2, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Belfield with Father Shannon Lucht celebrating. Burial will take place in St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
Visitation for Greg will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 1st at Stevenson Funeral Home with a rosary and vigil service being held at 6:00 p.m.
Greg passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at his home in Dickinson.
Gregory Paul was born August 11, 1972 in Vincennes, IN, the son of Thomas and Sandra (Hutzenbeler) Stephens. He grew up in Indiana before coming to Belfield in 1981. Greg graduated from Belfield High School in 1991. Following high school, he went to Fargo and worked for Peterbuilt painting semis. In 2003, Greg met Heather Giese. They were married on September 3, 2011 in Beulah. Together, they raised three children that he loved and cherished: Logan, Noah, and Rubie. Greg and Heather lived in Killdeer, Mandan and West Fargo before making their home in Dickinson. Greg continued to work as an autobody tech and was currently an employee with Jay R’s Autobody in Dickinson. He enjoyed Nascar, hunting, camping, football and spending time with his family. Greg will be forever loved and dearly missed.
Greg is survived by his beloved wife, Heather of Dickinson; his children, Logan Stephens, Noah Giese and Rubie Stephens of Dickinson; parents, Tom and Sandy Stephens of Belfield; brother, Rick (Tasha) Stephens of Dickinson; sister, Jessica Beckman (Kyle Hanson) of Williston; nieces, Halle Stephens and Kierra Findley; nephews, Jadon Findley, Jacob Stephens and Jamisen Beckman; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Vance and Shelley Giese of Beulah; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Landon and Kahla Giese of Dickinson.
He was preceded in death by Grandma and Grandpa Stephens and Grandma and Grandpa Hutzenbeler.
