Gunner passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Gunner was born a boxer on January 5, 2010. He loved to have those little hands up or in front of his face, during his ultrasounds and even afterwards. You would think someone as handsome as Gunner would want to show off his good looks, but no. He?s such a lady killer, he had all the nurse?s eyes turned on him and he knew it. Gunner always knew when mommy and daddy were in the room. He would always turn his head and look at daddy when he was talking to him and then look back at mommy. Every time he woke up yawning and stretching, he looked like an old man. When his eyes would finally adjust his eyebrows were to the sky, looking around amazed. Gunner just loved his pacifier, he was always sucking it. It seemed to calm him down. Especially with his sugar water, boy did he love that. You could always tell how much he loved them both by his facial expressions. Another thing he was always doing was blowing those bubbles out of his mouth. Gunner had one heck of a grip. When he would grab your finger it was like he never wanted to let go. Gunner absolutely hated his diaper changed, because of the cold wipe. So one of the times he tried his hardest to pee on mommy and accomplished his goal for sure. As soon as she thought he was done peeing on her, he fooled her two more times. Even though he is not here with us, he will be in our hearts forever. Gunner fought as hard as he could, although his time here on earth was short, he went to go take care of heaven until he?s rejoined with his mother and father again. Gunner is survived by his parents, Destiny Maxon and Delvin Greff, his grandparents: Margaret Maxon, Sterling, ND, Russell (Tracy Zaste), Maxon, Belcourt, ND and Perry and Annette Greff, Glen Ullin, ND; great-grandparents: Mike Greff, Ed Maxon and Patricia Schanandore, all of Mandan, ND, uncles: Luke Greff, Derrick Greff, Beau Maxon, Mossy Maxon and A. J. Maxon, aunts: Rachel Greff, Fate Maxon, Havoline Maxon, Shy Maxon, and Alyssa Hunt.
