Funeral Services for Harold Huether, 82, of Dickinson are 10:30 a. m. Friday, November 17, 2006 at the Evangelical Bible Church, 2891 5th Ave. West, Dickinson, ND. Burial will be in the Sunny Slope Cemetery in Mott, ND. Visitation will be 1:00 p. m. ? 5:00 p. m. , Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2006, 9:00 a. m. ? 9:00 p. m. Thursday, at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel and one hour prior to the service at the church. A Prayer Service will be held 7:00 p. m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006 at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel. Harold passed away Saturday, November 11, 2006 at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Harold Adam Huether was born July 23, 1924 in Havelock, ND, the son of Emanuel and Magdelina (Hofer) Huether. Harold grew up and attended country school in the Regent area. He worked with his parents on the family farm. Harold was married to Minnie Friez on February 9, 1945 in Baker, MT. They farmed and raised their three girls in the Regent area. In 1966, the family moved to Dickinson where they purchased the Villa Drive Inn and operated it with their girls until 1975. Both at the age of 52, Harold and Minnie completed their High School requirements and each received their GED. With their diplomas in hand, they headed for Kennewick, WA where they attended the Tri-City School of Massage. After completion, they returned to Dickinson where they revamped the Villa Drive Inn into the Massage Therapy Clinic. Their daughter, Deb still operates it to this day. Harold was very active in the Zoar Congregational Church while in Mott. He also was one of the charter members of the Evangelical Bible Church in Dickinson. Harold held and served on many board positions throughout the years and was always very active in the church. He was very proud of how the church grew. Harold was also past president of AMATA North Dakota chapter of Governors Board. He enjoyed bowling, traveling, which he was able to go to several country?s. Harold always liked being with people and especially loved and enjoyed his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Minnie Huether, Dickinson; two daughters, MaDonna (Terry) Bernhardt, Taylor, ND and Deb (Phil) Reisenauer, Dickinson; a brother, Walter Huether, Garrison; a sister, Emma Magelkey, Dickinson; six grandchildren: Robbie Olson, Ricky (Karen) Olson, Melanie (Rich) Stradling, Tyler Reisenauer, Chris (Sandra) Bernhardt and Jason Bernhardt. Four great grandchildren: Courtney & Jonathan Bernhardt and Jaiden and Dylan Stradling. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Faye Olson; four brothers, Henry, Emanuel, Rueben and Bennie; five sisters, Pauline, Matilda, Gertrude, Leona and Lydia.
