Harold Schneider

Funeral Mass for Harold Schneider, 72 of Dickinson will be 10:30 a. m. Friday, April 29, 2005 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father Jerome Kautzman celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph?s Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, 2005 from 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a Rosary and Vigil Service led by Deacon Gene Morman at 7:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 a. m. to 9:00 a. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel. Harold passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Harold Schneider was born February 20, 1933 at Dickinson, the son of Walter and Anna (Riedl) Schneider. He grew up in Dickinson and attended the Roosevelt Grade School. Harold began driving cab for the City Cab Company where he worked for many years. On September 25, 1961 he was married to Helen Keller at Dickinson. To this union, a son, Jeff was born. Harold retired because of failing health and continued to make Dickinson his home. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards. Harold volunteered many hours, calling bingo at Pioneer Haven. He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Harold passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Survivors include a son, Jeff Schneider of Mandan; two sisters: Marlene (Eugene) Jagler and Joan (Doug) Koch all of Wausau, WI; a sister-in-law, Betty Schneider of Dickinson; an aunt, Clara Lamprecht of Dickinson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen and a brother, William Schneider.
