Funeral Services for Hazel A. Bethel, 89, of Baker are 11:00 a. m. , Monday, April 2, 2007, at Stevenson Funeral Home with Pastors Bruce and Reba Kolasch officiating. Burial will be in the family lot of the Bonnievale Cemetery in Baker. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 p. m. ? 9:00 p. m. followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 p. m. at the Stevenson Funeral Home. Hazel passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Fallon Medical Complex Nursing Home in Baker, MT. Hazel A. Hufford was born on April 1, 1917 in Carter County, eight miles south of Ekalaka the daughter of Pearl & Susan (Tuckness) Hufford. She moved with her family to Baker as a young girl. She attended schools in Carter County and finished in Baker. Hazel was married to Jack G. ?Bud? Plummer on December 1, 1934. The family continued to make Baker their home. Hazel was later married to John B. ?Jack? Bethel on August 22, 1959. Along with raising her six children, Hazel worked at the Super Value Store in Baker as a cashier. She also worked for Ida Mae Sleeth at the local truck stop. Hazel and Jack enjoyed many years of camping and traveling throughout the country. She also enjoyed crocheting afghans for her grandchildren. Hazel especially loved and enjoyed having all the children around for gatherings. Survivors include two sons, David (Eleanor) Plummer, Sydney, NE and Charles Bethel, Helena, MT; a daughter, Kay Widdicombe, Colstrip, MT; a sister, Betty (Lowell) Johnson, Baker, MT; 17 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Her parents, her husband, Jack, three sons, Gene, Monte and Bob Plummer, four brothers, Wally, Red, Bud and Bunny, two sisters, Mary Reynolds and Bev Botsford and a great-grandson, Derrick Rissmann, preceded her in death.
