Helen Ida Foster was born September 29, 1925 in Hancock, WI, the daughter of Charles and Lola Foster. She grew on the family dairy farm in Wisconsin and graduated from Hancock High School. After graduation, Helen met Marion Stebnitz and the two were united in marriage. They were blessed with three daughters. The family then moved to North Dakota. Helen lived in several different towns in southwest North Dakota before making Dickinson her home for over 30 years. She worked as a nurse’s aide in Hettinger for many years. Helen loved music and played both the piano and organ. Pets held a special place in Helen’s heart but her true love was her grandchildren. She enjoyed every moment she spent with them.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Kathy Bohne of Gillette, WY, and Carole (Terry) Clement of Dickinson; grandchildren, Heather (Mark) Ferebee of Beulah, ND, Mark Clement of Dickinson, Jen (Justin) Boersma of Gladstone, ND, Cory (Tami) Bohne of Bismarck, ND, and Chris (Justin) Bloomgren of Buffalo, WY; and great-grandchildren, Derek, Nicole, Marlee, Elyse, Ryker, Cole, Mattie, and Cody.
Helen was preceded in death by her daughter, Pat Stebnitz and brothers, Alan Foster, Marion Foster, Norris Foster, Charles Foster, and Alvin Foster.Stebnitz Helen
