Henry Dvorak, 94, Dickinson, died Sunday, January 9, 2005, at St. Benedict?s Health Center, Dickinson. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a. m. , Thursday, January 13, 2005, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Jerry Kautzman celebrating. Interment will be at a later date in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. , Wednesday, January 12, 2005, at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson with a prayer service at 7 p. m. led by Deacon Gene Morman. Henry A. Dvorak was born March 10, 1910, in Stark County to John A. and Anna (Ridl) Dvorak. He attended school in Stark County and New Hradec. On November 7, 1934, he married Lillian V. Kadrmas. They lived on the family homestead with Henry?s father, brothers and sisters before moving to a farm they purchased east of South Heart, along the Heart River. They retired into Dickinson in 1971. Henry enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and listening to old time music as well as playing his accordions. Henry was known for his ability to repair anything. He was always busy inventing new ways to do tasks or trying to improve the way things worked. Henry was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles and Catholic Workman. Henry is survived by: three sisters, Sylvia Pavlicek, Canby, Ore. , Dorothea Renner and Mary Ann Culver, both of Dickinson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Lillian, parents, one sister, Emily Hedge, two brothers, John and Albert Dvorak and four brothers-in-law, Maynard Hedge, Adam Renner, Ray Culver and Vince Pavlicek.
