Funeral Services for Hilda Miller, 95 of Halliday will be 2:00 p. m. Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at Our Savior?s Lutheran Church in Halliday with Pastor Aanen Gjovik, officiating. Burial will follow in Our Savior?s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Halliday. Visitation will be Monday, March 7, 2005 from 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel in Killdeer. Hilda passed away Thursday, March 3, 2005 at Hilltop Home of Comfort in Killdeer. Hilda as born May 1, 1909 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, the daughter of Jacob and Louisa (Knoll) Keller. At the age of five, she moved with her parents to the Halliday area where she grew up and attended school. On April 3, 1932 Hilda was married to Emil Miller at Halliday. Together they farmed north of Halliday where they raised their two daughters. In 1964 they retired and moved into Halliday. Due to failing health, Hilda made her home at the Hilltop Home of Comfort. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and especially enjoyed visiting with her friends and family. Hilda loved to have her grandchildren and great-grandchildren visit. She was a member of Our Savior?s Lutheran Church in Halliday. Survivors include two daughters: Edna (Erwin) Weisz of Killdeer and Doris Borth of Thermopolis, WY; two sisters: Tena (Albert) Schekorsky of Bismarck and Frieda Rehberg of Bismarck; a sister-in-law, Ann Keller of Beulah; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emil; two brothers: Gotthilf and William Keller; three sisters: Johanna Traxel, Ida Kruckenberg and an infant sister; and an infant granddaughter, Charlotte Borth.
