Liturgy of the Word for Hubert William Krenz, 86, of Dickinson, ND, will be 10:00 a. m. , Saturday, July 16, 2011 in the Chapel of Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, ND with Father Keith Streifel celebrating. Visitation for Hubert will be from 1:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. , Friday, July 15, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home with a Rosary & Vigil Service being held at 6:00 p. m. Hubert passed away July 13, 2011 at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson, ND. Hubert William Krenz was born June 26, 1925 at Desart, ND, the son of August and Lillian (Bilges) Krenz. He attended country school in the Desart area, graduating from the 8th grade. Hubert later met Deloris Mayer at a family gathering. On February 15, 1957 the couple was married in Regent, ND. Together the couple raised eight children. Hubert worked various jobs to support his family including driving truck and also as a security guard for St. Joseph?s Hospital where he eventually retired. Hubert enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing, hunting, working around the yard, and attending auction sales. Hubert is survived by his wife, Deloris; four daughters, Lenora Cook, Mary (Dave) Bullinger, Carol (Larry) Faulhaber and Sarah Hibl, all of Dickinson; four sons, Allen Krenz, John (Kathy) Krenz, Ray (Tammy) Krenz and Curt (fianc? Jen) Krenz, all of Dickinson; two sisters, Theresa Tarpo, New England and Ruth Williams, Baker, MT; one brother, Robert Krenz, New England; nineteen grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two brothers.
