A funeral service for Hudson T. Moe, 63, of Dickinson will be 3:00 p. m. , Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Evangelical Bible Church in Dickinson with Pastor Tim Privratsky officiating. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Cremation will take place and burial will be at a later date. Hudson passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck. Hudson Taylor was born January 8, 1952 in Santa Cruz, CA, the son of Harold Woodman and Claretta Thelon (Torgersen) Moe. Growing up, he attended school in the Red Bluff and Soquel areas of California. Following graduation, he attended some college and began working in the drywall trade. On July 8, 1972, Hudson married Elizabeth Noble in Santa Cruz, CA. To this union, four sons, Davin, Brendan, Karl, and Cameron blessed their lives. Hudson was a general building contractor for most of his life. They resided in Weed, CA for many years before moving to Dickinson in the fall of 2013. He loved music, baseball and swimming. He was passionate about restoring and remodeling houses. He was known by his grandchildren as “Singing Grandpa”. Most importantly, those who knew Hudson will remember his fervent love for His Savior Jesus Christ. Hudson is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of Dickinson; sons, Davin Moe and Brendan Moe of Dickinson, Karl (Rosella Abigail) Moe of Gardnerville, NV, Cameron Moe of Dickinson; grandchildren, DeVonn, Darci, Debra, Craig, William, and Shaila; sisters, Sonja Hennie (Frederick) Muster of San Marcos, CA, Vernita Lorree (Philip) Bigler of Sylmar, CA, Marion Priscilla Concannon of Redding, CA; brothers, Martin Luther (Elizabeth) of Albany, CA, John Richey (Anna Maria) of Santiago, Chile, Arvid Paul (Rebecca) of Roseville, CA, Charles Finney (Linda) of Albany, OR, Edvin Thorval (Melody) of Dickinson. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Henning Craig Moe, Harold Woodman Moe Jr. and Woodrow Tordner Moe.
